Objective: Since the first week of July 2024, RCPC, in collaboration with The Community Eye Care Centre, has been organizing Eye Checkup Camps to promote eye health among students and teachers.

Progress: Six camps have been successfully conducted at various schools and organizations in and around Pune. Rtn. Oni Kakajiwala and R’Ann Nafisa Kakajiwala, along with a team of young ophthalmologists from Gogate Eye Clinic, have led these initiatives.

Impact: To date, 3,500 children and 100 teachers have undergone eye checkups, and 500 spectacles have been distributed, ensuring better vision and improved learning experiences.

Conclusion: This initiative reflects the commitment of RCPC and its dedicated team to enhancing eye care accessibility, making a meaningful difference in the lives of students and educators.
