President's Message

RTN. LEKHA NAIR

It is both an honour and a heartfelt privilege to pen this message as we begin our journey into the Rotary year 2025–26. As we turn the page to a new chapter, we do so with deep appreciation for the remarkable work of our predecessors, whose dedication and vision have brought our club to where it stands today. Building on their legacy, we now look ahead with renewed spirit and shared purpose.

Our club is a vibrant mosaic of cultures, talents, and perspectives. This year, inspired by Rotary's theme 'Unite for Good,' we will celebrate that diversity and come together in purpose and action. Let that spirit of unity and goodwill guide every project, fellowship, and conversation we have.

While continuing with the Club's signature projects, we will design new high-impact projects to address pressing city-wide challenges. We are committed to strengthening environmental sustainability and implementing impactful projects in education and health.

Strengthening the working of Club committees will be a priority, with dedicated monthly meetings that focus on action and accountability, ensuring that every member finds space to contribute meaningfully. At the same time, we will continue to celebrate the joy of fellowship with relaxed brunches, cultural evenings and service outings.

I look forward to a year where every meeting feels meaningful, every event brings smiles, and every member feels proud to belong.

Thank you for entrusting me with this responsibility. I pledge to listen deeply and lead collaboratively while upholding the ideals of Rotary.

RI President's Message

RTN. FRANCESCO AREZZO

As we begin a new year of service, let us not forget the importance of every member of Rotary.

As we step into a new year of service, let us also look ahead to the many years of Rotary still to come. Our collective efforts today will shape the future of our organization for generations. It is essential that we focus on establishing new clubs, exploring diverse club models, and extending Rotary's reach into untapped communities. These steps will help Rotary remain relevant, resilient, and impactful—both now and in the future.

A vibrant Rotary is one where every member feels valued and motivated to contribute. This calls for fostering an inclusive environment that welcomes fresh ideas, encourages collaboration, and mirrors the diversity of the communities we aim to serve.

Rotary's success depends on our ability to adapt and grow. Let us push ourselves to go beyond conventional methods, seek out new opportunities for connection and service, and equip Rotary to meet the demands of an ever-changing world. By adopting this approach, we ensure Rotary remains a dynamic and forward-thinking organization that continues to attract People of Action dedicated to creating lasting change.

You have the power to help build a Rotary that is not only resilient in the face of challenges but also ready to flourish for decades to come.

Together, let us champion innovation, nurture growth, and Unite for Good.

District Governor Message

RTN. SANTOSH MARATHE

Warm Greetings from First Lady Rtn. PP Dr Tanuuja and me!!

It is with great enthusiasm and humility that I welcome you to Rotary Year 2025–2026. Ours is one of the most prestigious and vibrant District in the Rotary World. My predecessors, with your support and commitment have established a strong legacy of ever escalating achievements year after year. I am honoured and looking forward to serve this District as Governor for the Rotary Year 2025-2026.

This year's inspiring message “Unite for Good” given to the Rotary World by our RI President 2025-26, Rtn. Francesco Arezzo, in just three words, captures the very essence of what Rotary stands for, i.e. bringing people together to create positive and lasting change. The spirit and tone of his message itself shows a direction in which we should focus our efforts during the ensuing Rotary year.

Let us understand who we are – we are a global network of people of action, coming together across clubs, professions, and communities to create lasting change. In Rotary, we know that working in synergy is key to success—our greatest impact comes when we align our efforts and combine our strengths.

Let us unite for a clear, shared purpose. This year, we will:

Protect the Environment – Lead projects that reduce our carbon footprint, promote sustainability, and preserve natural resources.

Ensure Clean Water and Sanitation – Help communities gain access to safe, reliable water and better hygiene.

Improve Health and Well-being – Health initiatives with a focus on disease prevention, mental wellness, and equitable care.

Plan Projects with Proper Need Assessments – Engage communities, listen to their needs, and design impactful, sustainable solutions.

Partner with Grassroot NGOs – Collaborate with local organizations that understand community dynamics and can help to deepen our reach

Invite and involve Community in our projects and programs.

Provide Well-Informed Leadership – Equip leaders at every level in Rotary organisation with appropriate training, vision, and resources needed to guide clubs forward.

Strengthen Our Clubs – Focus on sustaining membership by engaging new members meaningfully, retaining experienced ones, and ensuring Rotary remains vibrant, inclusive, and relevant. Build strong bonds between our Rotary families. Leave no member neglected.

Encourage Active Participation – Involve every Member in service, leadership, and fellowship. Engagement is the key to member satisfaction. Motivate members for impactful activities and appreciate them with your kind gestures.

Celebrate Fellowship – Nurture friendships and joyful moments that make Rotary life enriching.

Support The Rotary Foundation – When we give to our Foundation, we empower ourselves to do bigger and better service—locally and globally. 'The Rotary Foundation transforms our gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world'.

We are a proud part of an organisation which since it was founded has invested more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects. Doing Good for the underprivileged has always been our effort.

This year, let us Unite for Good— Good for people, for the planet, for peace, and for Rotary itself. Let's serve with our heart in our service, lead with wisdom, and grow together with purpose. Our actions should make each one of us proud.

Wishing you all a year of meaningful action, strong partnerships, and joyful fellowship.
